A car crash at Station Road
Well...all the excitement!! It's not often I'd see a car crash around my place. I'd hear cars screeching as they'd speed around the bend , and perhaps one other crash a year before, but not something like this.
By the look of it, the car must have been flying. The driver must have missed the arrow, just went straight towards the guard rail... But it's just weird coz I really didn't hear any sound of car screeching past my house. It sounded more like some huge metals had fallen off the back of a truck. The driver obviously had escaped injuries. My neighbour actually saw the guy coming out through the window - asked him if he was alright and needed ambulance but the guy just took off, running away from the scene. One could only guess he was either drunk or that he had stolen that darn car! No one really knew what happened to this guy after the accident.
The ambulance did come, and so did a fire truck and two more huge towing trucks. Yep, it was all happening! :-)
This car crash occured just at the road bend next to my house. It happened on the night of March 17. I took a photo of the night scene but the picture isn't so clear.
When I woke up this morning, the car was still there! I just had to take the pictures!
And since I was taking these pictures, I also took a few pics of my front house and our street. I had been wanting to take photos of my house from across the road but I kept on forgetting. :-)
